The DEWALT 18V XR Brushless Cordless Impact Wrench is a battery-powered impact wrench for heavy-duty fastening and loosening work. It runs on an 18 V cordless platform, keeping operation independent of a mains lead. Maximum fastening torque is rated at 950 N⋅m for tightening nuts and bolts. This output is intended for demanding automotive maintenance tasks, as well as construction, installation and general professional fastening work.

At 2.62 kg without a battery, the impact wrench has a substantial form suited to high-torque work. Its rubberised soft-grip handle provides a defined gripping surface, while the integrated LED illuminates dark or confined areas. A 1/2-inch square drive accepts matching impact sockets without a conventional drill chuck. Three selectable speed levels and adjustable speed control allow the operating rate to be matched to the fastener. The supplied configuration is body only, with no battery or charger included, so both are required separately. A carrying case is included for storage and transport.
