The MAKITA 18 V Cordless Drill/Driver comes with two 3.0 Ah batteries, a charger, and a MAKPAC case. It drills and drives screws in wood, steel, and other common construction materials. It runs on an 18 V rechargeable battery, with no mains lead required. Maximum torque is 62 N⋅m for heavy-duty drilling and screwdriving. Maximum drilling capacity is 38 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel. It is intended for construction, installation, maintenance, and demanding DIY work.

The pistol-grip body has a rubberised soft grip for comfortable handling and a built-in LED work light to illuminate the work area. A keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm, allowing tool-free bit changes. The two-speed transmission and adjustable speed control provide separate speed ranges for fastening and drilling. Two 3.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries and a charger are included. The MAKPAC carrying case keeps the drill and accessories together between jobs.
