The Makita 18V LXT Cordless Demolition Hammer is a battery-powered machine for chiselling, tile removal, and surface stripping. It runs on 18 V without a mains cable. Rated impact energy is 3.1 J for controlled demolition and renovation work. It removes material with compatible chisels rather than drilling, making it a dedicated chipping machine for cable-free work.

The demolition hammer weighs 3.6 kg and has a soft-grip handle for better control during longer tasks. Its SDS-PLUS interface accepts compatible chisels and simplifies accessory changes. A built-in LED illuminates dim working areas around the chisel point. Variable-speed control allows the impact rate to be adjusted to suit the material and application.
