Makita DHK180ZJ 18 volt LXT SDS-Plus Cordless Demolition Hammer

The Makita 18V LXT SDS-Plus Cordless Demolition Hammer is intended for controlled chiselling and light demolition. It delivers a maximum impact energy of 3.1 J for removing tiles, plaster, mortar residue and floor coverings. Concrete and masonry surfaces are also within its stated range of applications. Its battery-powered format uses the Makita 18V LXT platform, avoiding dependence on a nearby mains outlet. The SDS-Plus chuck accepts compatible chisels and provides a defined standard for selecting additional accessories.

Chiselling vibration is rated at 4.5 m/s², with integrated vibration-reduction technology designed to limit transmission to the operator. An auxiliary handle provides a second gripping point for maintaining control during surface-removal work. The chisel can be adjusted through 12 angular positions to suit different working orientations. Three chisels are supplied, covering the hammer's intended chiselling and light-demolition tasks without requiring an initial accessory purchase. A carrying case is also included for storing and transporting the demolition hammer and supplied chisels.
