The Makita DHP482Z 18V LXT Cordless Hammer Driver Drill, Body Only is a battery-powered hammer drill for drilling, hammer drilling and screwdriving. It runs on Makita's 18V LXT lithium-ion battery platform. The drill delivers up to 62 N·m of torque in hard applications and 36 N·m in soft applications. Maximum drilling capacities are 38 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel and 13 mm in concrete. These capacities suit fastening, general drilling and masonry work across maintenance, renovation and DIY tasks.

The listed weight is 1.8 kg, and the pistol-grip design incorporates a soft-grip handle. The keyless chuck accepts accessories from 1.5 to 13 mm, allowing bit changes without a chuck key. A two-speed mechanical gearbox and adjustable trigger provide control over drilling and fastening speed. The built-in work light illuminates the area around the bit.
