Makita DHP484Z 18 V LXT Brushless Hammer Driver Drill

The Makita 18 V LXT Brushless Hammer Driver-Drill is a cordless hammer drill suited to installation, construction, maintenance, and DIY work. It drills wood, steel, and concrete and also handles screwdriving. Power comes from a removable lithium-ion battery compatible with the Makita LXT platform. Its brushless motor delivers up to 54 N·m of torque in hard applications. Maximum drilling capacities are 36 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel, and 13 mm in concrete.

Weighing 1.6 kg without a battery, the drill has a compact pistol-grip form. A soft-grip surface improves control during longer jobs and work in confined spaces. The keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm and requires no chuck key. Two mechanical gears and adjustable speed provide separate ranges for controlled driving and faster drilling. A built-in LED illuminates the immediate work area. A charger is supplied, but the required battery is not included, and no carrying case is provided.
