The Makita 18V LXT Brushless SDS-PLUS Rotary Hammer is a cordless drill for concrete, masonry, wood, and steel. It runs on Makita's 18V LXT battery platform. A brushless motor powers both rotary and hammer-drilling modes for construction, renovation, and maintenance work. Maximum drilling diameter is 13 mm in wood, 10 mm in steel, and 13 mm in concrete. These capacities position the drill for smaller anchoring, installation, and general drilling tasks rather than large-bore concrete work.

At 2.1 kg, the drill has a compact form suited to mobile work and repeated handling. Its soft-grip body provides a defined grip area when drilling or positioning the bit. The SDS-PLUS chuck accepts compatible bits without a keyed chuck. An integrated LED illuminates the drilling area in low-light conditions. A carrying case is supplied, but the removable lithium-ion battery and charger are not included, so an existing compatible Makita LXT battery system is required.
