Makita DHR242Z 18V LXT Brushless SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer, Body Only

The Makita 18V LXT Brushless SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer is a cordless drill intended for concrete drilling and light chiselling. Its 18 V supply places it within Makita’s 18V LXT battery platform. The rotary hammer drills holes up to 27 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel, and 24 mm in concrete. These capacities support masonry work alongside conventional drilling when a suitable bit is fitted. A brushless motor drives the rotary and impact functions without requiring a mains connection.

The rotary hammer weighs 2.7 kg and has a soft-grip surface for a more secure hold during operation. Its SDS-Plus chuck accepts compatible SDS-Plus drill and chisel bits. Adjustable speed allows the output to be moderated for different materials and accessories. Removable lithium-ion batteries from the Makita 18V LXT platform are compatible. This is a body-only drill, so the battery and charger must be sourced separately. No carrying case is supplied.
