The Makita 18V LXT Cordless Rotary Hammer Drill Body Only is a battery-powered rotary hammer for drilling and chiselling in construction, renovation and installation work. It runs on an 18 V supply. Maximum drilling capacity is 26 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel and 24 mm in concrete. This covers hole-making across timber, metal and concrete surfaces. Variable-speed control lets the drilling rate be adjusted for different materials and applications.

At 3.4 kg, the drill has an ergonomic soft-grip body intended to support controlled handling during longer jobs. Its SDS-PLUS chuck secures compatible drill and chisel bits. An integrated LED improves visibility in dim work areas. The auxiliary handle provides a second gripping point, while the supplied depth gauge helps set consistent hole depths. This body-only version uses removable lithium-ion LXT batteries, with no battery or charger included.
