Makita DHR243ZJ 18V Brushless SDS-Plus Cordless Rotary Hammer

The Makita 18V Brushless SDS-Plus Cordless Rotary Hammer is intended for drilling and light chiselling in construction, renovation and installation work. It runs on the Makita 18V LXT battery platform. Its brushless motor delivers up to 2 J of impact energy for working in concrete and masonry. Maximum drilling diameters are 27 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel and 24 mm in concrete. Three operating modes cover rotary drilling, rotary hammer drilling and chiselling.

The rotary hammer weighs 3.4 kg with a battery fitted. Its soft-grip finish and ergonomic shape are designed to support controlled handling during sustained work. The SDS-Plus chuck accepts compatible bits and provides a quick-release system for bit changes. Power comes from a lithium-ion battery compatible with the Makita 18V LXT range. No battery or charger is supplied, so existing platform compatibility or separate purchases are required. A carrying case is included for storage and transport.
