The Makita 36 V (2 × 18 V LXT) Brushless SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer is a cordless model for construction, renovation, and masonry work. Its 36 V supply comes from two 18 V Makita LXT battery packs. The brushless motor delivers up to 2.8 J of impact energy for drilling and light demolition. Three operating modes cover rotary drilling, hammer drilling, and chiselling. Maximum drilling diameters are 32 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel, and 28 mm in concrete.

The listed weight is 3.8 kg, in line with other cordless rotary hammers. Its SDS-Plus chuck accepts compatible drill bits and chisels. Adjustable speed lets you match output to the application, while the built-in light improves visibility in darker work areas. It uses removable Makita LXT lithium-ion battery packs. Batteries and charger are not supplied, but a Makpac carrying case is included for storage and transport.
