The Makita DJR186ZK 18 V Cordless Reciprocating Saw Body Only is designed for general cutting, renovation, and light demolition work. It cuts wood up to 255 mm deep and metal profiles or pipes up to 130 mm deep. Power comes from the Makita 18 V Lithium-Ion battery system, providing cordless operation on site. The 32 mm stroke length combined with a maximum no-load stroke rate of 2,800 strokes per minute delivers rapid cutting performance. Suitable materials include wood, nailed wood, metal pipes, metal profiles, tubing, bars, and slats. As a body-only tool, the battery and charger must be purchased separately.

Weighing 3,500 g, the saw includes a bi-metal blade for cutting both nailed wood and metal. The ergonomic handle and soft-grip surfaces improve comfort during extended use.
