The Makita 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Jigsaw (Tool Only) is built for precision cutting, furniture installation, and general construction work. It cuts wood, steel, and aluminium, with a maximum cutting depth of 135 mm in wood, 20 mm in aluminium, and 10 mm in steel. Powered by an 18V lithium-ion battery, the tool is compatible with the Makita 18V LXT battery system. A brushless motor provides variable stroke rates between 800 and 3,500 strokes per minute, and the 26 mm stroke length supports efficient material removal across these substrates.

The aluminium base plate offers bevel adjustments up to 45 degrees for angled cuts. Weighing 2,600 g, the tool features a soft-grip handle intended to improve control during extended use. Three-stage orbital action allows the cutting speed to be increased for faster material removal or reduced for cleaner finishes. A built-in LED light and dust blower keep the cut line visible, while an integrated port supports direct connection to a dust extraction system. Because this is a tool-only version, the 18V battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately.
