The Makita DLM462Z 18V cordless self-propelled lawn mower is designed for maintaining medium-to-large gardens. Its 460mm cutting width covers a significant area in each pass, reducing the time required to mow. Powered by batteries, the mower eliminates the need for power cables or petrol. The self-propelled drive reduces the physical effort needed to push the machine across larger lawns. With a recommended working capacity of 1,900 square metres, it is suitable for medium to large residential properties.

The 35.3kg steel deck provides a stable base during operation. The cutting height can be adjusted from 20mm to 100mm using a stepless mechanism. Clippings are collected in a 60-litre bag, which is large enough to reduce the need for frequent emptying. A mulching kit is included, allowing clippings to be returned to the lawn as fertiliser. The mower is controlled via an adjustable, ergonomic handle with a non-slip grip, while the four-wheel design helps maintain balance on uneven ground.
