Makita 18V Brushless Cordless Random Orbit Polisher

The Makita 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Dual-Action Random Orbit Polisher is designed for compounding, polishing and finishing painted or coated surfaces. It runs on cordless 18V lithium-ion power, so no mains lead is needed. The 125 mm pad uses a dual-action random orbit movement. Forced rotation supports heavier compounding and material removal. Free rotation gives more controlled action for finishing and polishing. Operating speed ranges from 780 to 13,600 rpm to suit different pads, compounds, coatings and surfaces.

The brushless motor removes the maintenance needed to replace motor brushes. Soft-start brings the pad up to speed gradually, limiting compound splashing at startup. No battery is supplied with this bare-tool version, and no charger is included. The polisher accepts compatible Makita 18V LXT batteries, making it useful for anyone already invested in that battery system. A carrying case is included for storage and transport between automotive, marine and other surface-finishing tasks.
