The MAKITA DSP600Z 2x18V LXT Brushless Cordless Plunge Saw 165 mm is designed for accurate, controlled cuts in wood, MDF, laminate, aluminium, Corian and stone-fibre board. It achieves a 56 mm cutting depth at 90° and 40 mm at 45°. A 36 V Li-ion battery system (2x 18 V LXT) powers the brushless motor. Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts torque and speed under load to maintain consistent cutting performance. This cordless tool is built for straight, repeatable cuts in furniture installation, worktop and panel fitting, cabinet making, and flooring work.

Weighing 5,100 g with an overall length of 346 mm, the saw is compact for a cordless plunge saw in this class. Bevel adjustment allows cuts up to 48°, exceeding the typical 45° maximum. The integrated dust extraction port connects to an extraction system to manage dust at the cut line. A soft-start function brings the blade smoothly up to operating speed, and the quick-stop function halts the blade rapidly after use. Batteries and charger are not included and must be purchased separately. Sound pressure reaches 95 dB during operation, and Makita covers the tool with a 3-year warranty.
