The Makita 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Impact Wrench, Body Only is a battery-powered impact wrench for fastening and removing threaded fasteners. It suits workshop, industrial, vehicle-maintenance and agricultural tasks that require high tightening force. The 18V LXT battery platform supplies the cordless power source, and its brushless motor delivers up to 700 N·m of maximum fastening torque — enough for demanding assembly and maintenance work rather than light screwdriving.

The impact wrench uses a 1/2-inch square drive with a friction ring to retain compatible sockets. Four selectable power settings let the output be matched to different fastening tasks, including Auto-Stop and full-speed modes. A variable-speed trigger gives direct control, and the built-in LED illuminates poorly lit work areas. At 170 mm long, the body helps where access around a fastener is restricted. It accepts Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries. As this is the body-only version, no battery, charger or carrying case is supplied.
