The DEWALT DWS778-QS 1850 W 250 mm Sliding Mitre Saw is designed for professional woodworking, construction, and installation work where accurate crosscuts, mitre cuts, bevel cuts, and compound cuts are required. Its corded motor delivers a maximum cutting depth of 85 mm at 90° and 58 mm at 45°. The cross-cut capacity is 305 × 85 mm, while the 45° bevel capacity measures 215 × 85 mm. These capacities make it suitable for cutting larger timber sections in a single pass. It is intended specifically for cutting wood and related workshop or construction materials.

The saw ships with a 250 mm, 40-tooth blade with a 30 mm bore, so it is ready for immediate use. Weighing 17.2 kg, it is a substantial machine best suited to bench-mounted or stationary positioning.
