Makita HM0871C 1100 W SDS-MAX Demolition Hammer

The Makita 1100 W SDS-MAX Demolition Hammer is a corded electric breaker intended for chiselling and material removal in concrete, masonry, and other hard building materials. Each blow delivers up to 8.1 J of impact energy, the main measure of its breaking capability. The corded format requires access to a mains electrical supply during operation. An SDS-MAX chuck with an 18 mm tool holder determines compatible chisel fitment. Its specification is aimed at construction, renovation, installation, and demolition work.

Anti-Vibration Technology limits rated chiselling vibration to 8 m/s², which matters during longer removal sessions. An auxiliary handle, ergonomic handle shape, and soft-grip surfaces give several points of control. The chisel can be set in 12 orientations to suit different working angles and confined areas. Constant-speed control is designed to maintain operating speed as load changes. A carrying case is supplied for transport and storage, but no chisel is included. An LED service indicator also provides maintenance information.
