MAKITA HP2071J 1010 W Corded Hammer Drill

The MAKITA HP2071J 1010 W Corded Hammer Drill is a mains-powered hammer drill intended for drilling and screwdriving in wood, steel, masonry, and concrete. Its 1,010 W input rating supports demanding renovation, installation, and general construction work. Maximum drilling diameters are 40 mm in wood, 16 mm in steel, and 20 mm in concrete. The concrete capacity applies to hammer drilling, while conventional rotary drilling covers wood and steel. As the drill runs from AC mains power, operation does not depend on battery charge or battery-platform compatibility.

At 2.5 kg, the drill has a solid build, and the supplied auxiliary handle provides a second gripping point. Its housing is made from die-cast aluminium. The keyless chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm and does not require a chuck key for adjustments. An adjustable-speed trigger and two-speed gearbox provide control across drilling and screwdriving tasks. A carrying case is included for storage and transport.
