MAKITA HR2811FT 800 watt SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer

The MAKITA 800 W SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer is an AC-mains rotary hammer intended for construction, renovation and general trade work. Its 800 W input supports drilling and impact work without reliance on a battery platform. Maximum drilling diameter is 32 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel and 28 mm in concrete. For concrete, the stated optimum drilling range is 8–20 mm, while compatible core cutters can reach 80 mm. Three operating modes cover rotary hammer drilling, rotation-only drilling and hammering-only chiselling.

At 3.3 kg, the drill uses a vertical-motor layout and includes an auxiliary handle for two-handed control. Its SDS-Plus chuck accepts matching accessories, while the included quick-change drill chuck accommodates conventional drill bits. A quick-release system handles the change between these two chuck arrangements. The drill also provides forward and reverse rotation, an integrated LED work light and soft-grip contact surfaces. A depth gauge supports repeatable hole depths, and the supplied carrying case keeps the drill and accessories together during transport.
