Makita HR4511C 1,350 watt SDS-MAX Combination Hammer

The Makita HR4511C 1,350 W SDS-MAX combination hammer is a corded machine for drilling and chiselling concrete and masonry. Its 1,350 W input rating suits demanding construction, renovation and installation work. Maximum drilling diameter in concrete is 45 mm with a conventional bit; core cutters raise the stated concrete capacity to 125 mm. Makita recommends a 20–35 mm diameter range for routine concrete drilling. The machine is intended for large holes and heavy chiselling rather than screwdriving.

At 8.5 kg, the hammer is built for substantial two-handed work rather than light drilling. The SDS-MAX holder accepts compatible heavy-duty drill bits and chisels. A single-gear drive provides an adjustable no-load speed of 130–280 RPM. Soft-grip surfaces support a more secure hold during extended operation. The auxiliary handle adds control, and the supplied depth gauge helps produce holes to a set depth. A carrying case is included for transport and storage.
