Makita, LS1018LN, 1430 W, 26 cm Sliding Compound Mitre Saw

The Makita LS1018LN 260 mm sliding compound mitre saw is a 1430 W corded tool designed for crosscutting, mitre cutting and bevel cutting in wood. It runs on AC mains power and drives a 260 mm blade. The motor reaches up to 4300 RPM, providing the speed needed for carpentry, woodworking and construction work. Maximum cutting depth at 90° is 305 mm; tilting the blade to a 45° bevel reduces this to 215 mm. The saw is rated for timber and other wood-based materials.

A precision-machined aluminium base gives a stable platform for the workpiece. At 20,600 g, the saw is semi-stationary but still portable enough to move between job sites. An ergonomic D-handle provides a secure grip during extended use. Bevel cuts up to 45° are possible on both left and right sides. Mitre adjustment ranges from 50° on the left to 60° on the right, covering a range of angled cuts. An integrated dust extraction port connects to a compatible vacuum to keep the cutting area clear.
