The Makita 900 W corded router is a compact woodworking router for controlled material removal. Its mains motor draws 900 W. The cutter runs at a fixed no-load speed of 27,000 RPM. Maximum cutting depth is 35 mm for deeper grooves and profiles. Cutting depth is adjustable, allowing shallower passes below this maximum.

At 2.7 kg, the router is manageable on a bench or around larger workpieces. Soft-grip handles provide a secure contact surface during longer routing sessions. It is suitable for solid wood and wood-based materials. Supported tasks include groove cutting and shaping edge profiles. The tool can also trim edges where controlled finishing is required.
