The Makita UH6580 670 W Electric Hedge Trimmer is a corded tool intended for maintaining medium to large hedges and dense shrubs. Mains power supports continuous operation without battery charging or runtime limits. Its 650 mm cutting length, 28 mm tooth spacing and 18 mm maximum branch capacity suit broad hedge sections and routine shaping work. The straight, double-sided blade cuts in both directions, helping cover larger areas with fewer passes.

The 670 W motor drives the blade at 3,000 strokes per minute for consistent trimming across established growth. A stain-resistant steel shear blade uses non-electrolyzed nickel plating to support clean cutting and resist surface deterioration. The soft-grip ergonomic handle provides a defined gripping surface during horizontal and vertical cuts. Its rear-handle configuration maintains a conventional two-handed working position when guiding the long blade.

A 0.3 m mains lead is fitted with a cable restraint to help keep the connection securely positioned during use. The short lead means an appropriate external power connection will generally be needed around larger gardens.
