The FINNSAT FS5000 is an outdoor directional log-periodic antenna designed to improve cellular reception for mobile broadband routers. It covers a frequency range of 698–960 MHz, 1710–2700 MHz, and 3410–3800 MHz, making it compatible with GSM, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. With a peak gain of 11 dBi, the antenna is suitable for locations at a distance from a base station. Its directional design focuses signal reception to improve connection stability and data throughput.
The antenna includes a 7 m low-loss cable with an SMA male connector, providing flexibility for installation on rooftops or masts to find the optimal signal path. Housed in durable ABS plastic, it is designed for mounting on poles with diameters between 30 and 53 mm. It features 50 Ω impedance and supports vertical, horizontal, and ±45° MIMO polarization. A front-to-back ratio of 21 dB helps suppress interference from behind the antenna, while integrated DC grounding protects connected equipment during outdoor use.
