The FINNSAT FS5800 is an outdoor directional antenna designed to improve signal reception in locations where internal router antennas provide insufficient stability, particularly in areas with poor coverage. It operates across two frequency bands, 698–960 MHz and 1710–2700 MHz, supporting GSM, 3G, 4G, LTE, and 5G networks. The antenna reaches a maximum gain of 14 dBi when aligned with a mobile network tower. Its directional design focuses signal reception to achieve higher throughput than standard omnidirectional alternatives.

The unit includes a 10 m low-loss cable with a male SMA connector for attachment to compatible routers. Its 50 Ω impedance matches standard mobile broadband hardware. The included mounting hardware is suitable for poles with diameters between 30 mm and 53 mm. Options for vertical or 45° polarization are available to suit the orientation of the local network signal. The housing measures 1200 mm by 210 mm and is compatible with Huawei, TP-LINK, and Asus devices that use SMA ports.
