The 3M Privacy Filter is engineered specifically for 34-inch ultrawide monitors that adhere to the 21:9 aspect ratio, suitable for use with Lenovo ThinkVision and similar large displays. This accessory utilizes Microlouver technology, which effectively restricts the viewing angle to maintain on-screen content visibility solely for the user positioned directly in front of the display. Viewers attempting to observe the screen from a side angle are presented only with a darkened display, securing confidential information in open environments.

The physical dimensions of the filter are 808 mm wide by 342 mm high. It is fully reversible, providing the option of a glossy finish for greater image clarity or a matte side that works to reduce glare, achieving up to 100% glare reduction, and resisting fingerprints. The filter transmits 56% of the screen’s light and also filters up to 35% of emitted blue light. Installation is managed via attachment tape, which allows the filter to be applied securely and removed easily when necessary. The durable construction provides passive protection against screen scratches and dust.
