The Cooler Master HAF 500 is a mid-tower chassis engineered for high-volume airflow. Its design incorporates a fine mesh front panel and two pre-installed 200mm ARGB fans to facilitate substantial air intake. This configuration is intended to cool high-performance internal components effectively. The main structure is built from steel and plastic, with a tempered glass side panel providing a view of the build's interior.

This case provides extensive hardware compatibility, accommodating motherboards up to E-ATX and SSI CEB sizes. For liquid cooling, it supports the installation of up to a 360mm radiator in both the front and top positions. The build process is streamlined through features like tool-less access to the side panels and a fully removable top panel, which simplifies the installation of fans and radiators. An integrated cable management system and a dedicated HDD/SSD combo cage contribute to an organized internal layout.
