The BenQ LU935 is a standard throw projector that utilizes DLP technology and a laser light source. It produces a brightness of 6000 ANSI lumens with a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, designed for use in well-lit environments such as conference rooms or large venues. The projector has a native WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The laser light source is rated for a service life of up to 20,000 hours under typical operating conditions, which reduces the need for frequent lamp replacements.

Installation flexibility is provided through a manual 1.6x zoom, a throw ratio of 1.36 - 2.18, and extensive lens shift capabilities. The unit offers a vertical lens shift of ±60% and a horizontal shift of ±23%, alongside ±30° keystone correction on both axes. These features allow for image alignment without physically moving the projector. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0a ports, two VGA ports, and a USB Type-A port. An Ethernet LAN port is also available for network integration and control via systems such as Crestron, AMX, and PJ Link.

Designed for in-house installation, the LU935 supports front, rear, and ceiling projection modes.
