DEWALT DCD740N-XJ 18V XR Cordless Right-Angle Drill Driver (Body Only)

The DEWALT DCD740N-XJ 18V XR Cordless Right-Angle Drill (Body Only) is a drill driver, not an angle grinder. Its right-angle design is intended for drilling and screwdriving where a conventional drill is difficult to position. The 18 V motor produces up to 33 N⋅m of torque for installation, maintenance, and workshop tasks. A two-speed gearbox with variable no-load speed from 650 to 2,000 RPM allows the rotation rate to be matched to the fastener or material.

At 1.3 kg, the drill is light enough to handle comfortably in confined spaces and at awkward angles. A rubber overmould on the handle provides a soft, secure grip. The brushed motor uses direct fan cooling, and the all-metal transmission is built for regular drilling and fastening. It is compatible only with the DEWALT 18V XR lithium-ion battery system. This body-only version is supplied without a battery, charger, or carrying case.
