The MicroConnect V-UTP6A01Y-SLIM is a Category 6a U/UTP patch cable engineered for high-speed local area networks, adhering to the IEEE 802.3an/aj networking standards. It supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s and operates at a frequency of 500 MHz. Utilizing stranded copper conductors, the cable ensures reliable data transmission over its 1-meter span, suitable for connecting switches, patch panels, and endpoint devices.

This cable employs a slim 28 AWG wire construction, resulting in an outer diameter of 3.6 mm. This narrow profile facilitates high-density installations and efficient cable management in tight rack spaces. The outer jacket is rated Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH), a design choice intended to reduce smoke emission and toxicity during fire events. It is certified as both halogen-free and RoHS compliant, meeting modern safety and sustainability regulations.

Termination is handled by male RJ-45 connectors on both ends, which include an integrated snagless boot for protecting the locking tab during handling.
