CONSPIT Ares Direct Drive Wheelbase (12 Nm) - Black

The CONSPIT Ares 12Nm Direct Drive Wheelbase is designed for PC sim racing. It uses a direct-drive motor instead of traditional belts or gears to provide responsive force feedback. The unit delivers 12 Nm of peak torque to simulate vehicle handling and changes in tire grip. By connecting directly to the motor shaft, the wheelbase minimises latency and provides immediate resistance during tight cornering. This output translates in-game telemetry into precise steering feedback.

The housing is made of black aerospace-grade aluminium and weighs 5.6 kg. This metal construction remains stable under high torque loads during long driving sessions. The unit can be hard-mounted to a rig using four M6 threads on the base and four M8 threads on the sides. It connects via a wired USB 3.0 interface and supports plug-and-play.
