The Bosch UniversalHedgePole 18 cordless telescopic hedge trimmer is intended for maintaining tall and medium-sized hedges from ground level. Its 430 mm cutting length is paired with 16 mm tooth spacing, and it can cut branches up to 16 mm thick. A stroke rate of 2,200 spm supports routine shaping and seasonal hedge maintenance. The anti-blocking cutting system helps the blade keep working when it encounters denser growth.

Weight including the battery is 3.6 kg, and the ergonomic grip is designed to improve control during longer trimming sessions. The cordless power system uses an 18 V battery with a 2.5 Ah capacity. Stated battery life is 150 minutes, and charging takes approximately one hour. Two batteries and a charger are included, so one battery can be charged while the other is in use.

The telescopic shaft extends the trimmer's working reach to approximately 2.6 metres. A pivoting cutting head changes the blade angle for working on hedge tops and other awkward sections from the ground. Battery compatibility covers the Bosch 18V Power for All Alliance system, which is useful for users who already own equipment from the same platform.
