The MAKITA DJV181ZJ Cordless Jigsaw Body Only is designed for controlled curved, straight, and internal cuts in wood, aluminium, non-alloyed steel, and plastic. It achieves a maximum cutting depth of 135 mm in wood, 20 mm in aluminium, and 10 mm in non-alloyed steel. A 14.4 V / 3.0 Ah lithium-ion battery powers a brushless motor that delivers a variable no-load stroke rate from 800 to 3,500 strokes per minute. The tool is compatible with the Makita rechargeable battery system and is intended for professional woodworking, workshop use, and demanding DIY cutting projects. Speed can be adjusted across the full range to suit the material and desired finish.

A T-handle design with soft-grip surfaces and an ergonomic handle provides a comfortable hold during extended work. The aluminium base plate supports bevel cuts from -45° to +45°. Weighing 2,400 g with an overall length of 266 mm, this jigsaw suits one-handed operation in confined spaces. A dust blower clears debris from the cutting line, and a dust extraction port connects to a vacuum for cleaner operation. This is a tool-only package: the battery and charger are not included.
