The Cisco ISR 1100 4P DSL Annex A Router with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) serves as a fixed-line gateway for branch networks. It is designed for fixed-line internet access and features a built-in DSL WAN interface operating on the Annex A specification. This model relies on traditional broadband infrastructure and does not support 5G, 4G, or other cellular connectivity. Wireless networking utilises the 802.11ac protocol to connect devices to local network resources. Designed for desktop use, the unit sits horizontally on a desk or shelf, making it suitable for small offices that lack a dedicated server rack.

Connectivity is provided through four RJ-45 LAN ports for wired devices. Two external antennas can be adjusted to optimise wireless coverage within a room.
