The GARDENA P4A 18 V 2.5 Ah battery and AL 1830 CV charger kit powers GARDENA's 18 V cordless garden tools. The 18 V, 2.5 Ah battery works with any tool in the GARDENA POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE 18 V range. Sharing one battery across several tools cuts down on the number of chargers and batteries needed at home. It suits both people starting a cordless system from scratch and those replacing an existing battery. The kit covers the power needs of routine garden work, and the battery can be swapped between compatible tools as different jobs come up.

The AL 1830 CV is a mains-powered quick charger. It plugs into a standard wall socket and refills the battery in around one hour. The kit contains one battery and one charger. No carrying case is included, so the components must be stored separately. Both items are finished in GARDENA's standard black and orange. The charger takes only one battery at a time, so recharging is sequential rather than simultaneous.
