The Synology RT6600ax is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6 router for high-throughput networking. It supports the IEEE 802.11ax standard, including the 5.9 GHz band, with a maximum combined speed of 7600 Mbit/s. Band speeds reach up to 4800 Mbit/s on the first 5 GHz band, 1200 Mbit/s on the second, and 600 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. Six antennas and MU-MIMO technology maintain signal stability across the network. The system supports mesh technology and handles up to 200 devices.
Wired connectivity includes one configurable 2.5GbE WAN/LAN port and three Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port supports peripheral connections and 3G/4G USB modems. Security features include WPA3 encryption, a firewall, and VPN support for OpenVPN and L2TP/IPSec protocols. Management is via a web interface providing Quality of Service and parental controls. This desktop unit includes a dedicated WPS button and reset functionality.
