The TP-Link EAP670 is a Wi-Fi 6 access point designed for ceiling or wall mounting in high-density environments. This dual-band unit supports the IEEE 802.11ax standard, reaching a combined Wi-Fi speed of 5378 Mbit/s—4804 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. With six internal antennas, the device provides coverage of up to 140 m². It supports up to 250 concurrent devices, using MU-MIMO and beamforming to manage signal distribution to connected clients.

Wired connectivity is provided by a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet WAN/LAN port for high-bandwidth uplinks. Power is supplied via 802.3at PoE+ or a 12 V DC adapter, allowing for installation away from standard power outlets. The device supports WPA3 and Enterprise-level encryption. Management is handled via a web interface or the Omada SDN platform for centralised control. Quality of Service (QoS) and guest access features are also included.
