UNIT 1 FARO MIPS Smart Bicycle Helmet with Remote, Blackbird, Medium is an urban cycling helmet that combines MIPS multi-directional impact protection with connected visibility features. Its integrated signalling system lets the rider communicate with traffic without fitting separate lights. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 10 hours of operation. An IPX6 rating protects the electronics against powerful water jets in wet conditions. This medium-size model is intended for adult cyclists. The Blackbird colour gives the helmet a uniform dark finish.

The helmet weighs 580 g and uses a composite construction of ABS, EPS and polyester. An included wireless remote controls the signalling and lighting functions while riding. Bluetooth connects the helmet to the UNIT 1 companion smartphone app. Ride data and health statistics can be viewed on a paired smartphone. Smart notifications are also supported through the connected system. Mounting hardware is included for setting up the remote and its controls.
