The Makita DHS660RTJ is a cordless circular saw designed for straight and bevel cuts in timber and wood-based materials for construction, installation, renovation, and workshop use. It delivers a 57 mm cut at 90° and 41 mm at 45°. The brushless motor reaches a 5,000 rpm no-load speed. Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts motor speed and torque according to the cutting load. Power comes from an 18 V / 5.0 Ah Li-ion battery. The saw is intended for users who need portable cutting without relying on a mains power cable.

The included 165 mm carbide-tipped blade has 25 teeth and a 20 mm bore for clean cuts in timber. Bevel adjustment allows angled cuts up to 50°. At 3,300 g and 270 mm overall, the saw remains manageable for extended or overhead work. A soft-grip ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue during long sessions. An integrated LED work light and dust blower keep the cut line clear, and a dust extraction port connects to a compatible vacuum system. This kit includes two batteries, a charger, and a Makpac carrying case.
