The Makita LXT DUH751Z 18V Cordless Hedge Trimmer Body Only is intended for large hedges and demanding garden or grounds-maintenance work. Its 750 mm cutting length is paired with 23.5 mm tooth spacing and a maximum branch cutting capacity of 23.5 mm. The extended cutting path covers broad hedge surfaces with fewer passes than a shorter blade. A stroke rate of up to 4,400 spm supports controlled cutting during routine shaping and heavier maintenance.

The brushless motor does not require the maintenance associated with motor brushes. At 4.5 kg, the trimmer combines an ergonomic grip with a form intended for extended cutting sessions. Its rear handle can be set in five positions to improve control when working across horizontal and vertical hedge faces. A specially sharpened blade provides the cutting edge for both shaping and general hedge reduction.

Power comes from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery system. No battery is supplied with this body-only configuration, and a charger is also not included. Compatible Makita 18 V LXT batteries and chargers are required. The removable battery format allows a depleted pack to be exchanged for another compatible pack when available.
