The Motorola PIP11 is an audio-only baby monitor designed for nursery use without the need for a camera or smartphone app. It uses DECT technology to provide a secure connection with a maximum range of 300 m outdoors and 48.7 m indoors. As a dedicated system, it does not rely on home Wi-Fi networks. The handheld receiver includes rechargeable NiMH batteries that provide up to 10 hours of runtime, and an integrated LCD display for checking status and settings.

Two-way talk allows you to speak to your child from the parent unit. The baby unit features a built-in temperature sensor, which displays readings between 14 and 39 °C, and a nightlight for subtle illumination. You can also remotely activate five pre-programmed lullabies to help with sleep routines. Volume is adjusted using physical buttons on the receiver, and while both units include AC adapters, the parent unit can also run on battery power for portability.
