UNIT 1 FARO MIPS Smart Bicycle Helmet – Maverick is a smart helmet for urban cycling and personal electric vehicle riding. It has an IPX6 water-resistance rating for use in wet city conditions. The rechargeable power system uses an 1,850 mAh lithium-ion battery. Integrated front and rear lighting improve the wearer’s visibility to surrounding road users. Automatic brake lighting and turn signals indicate slowing and directional changes. Fall detection can trigger an SOS alert with location sharing after a serious incident.

The shell combines an ABS exterior with an EPS liner and an integrated MIPS Safety System. MIPS is designed to reduce the rotational forces associated with angled impacts. A wireless handlebar remote gives access to the helmet’s connected controls while riding. The companion app supports lighting customisation, battery tracking and ride health statistics.
