The Ubiquiti UniFi Next-generation Gateway Pro (UXG-Pro) is a dedicated security appliance and router designed for centralized network management in enterprise or larger deployments. This device is constructed for professional environments, utilizing a durable aluminum housing and standard 1U rack-mounting dimensions. It operates using an internal AC/DC power supply and incorporates a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2048 MB of system memory. The system includes an integrated 1.3-inch touchscreen display for local status monitoring and management access.

The UXG-Pro provides high-speed connectivity with integrated support for both Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet networking standards. The unit features two Ethernet ports, configurable for WAN or LAN roles, supporting data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s. The integrated firewall offers comprehensive threat management, including deep packet inspection (DPI) and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) capabilities. The gateway supports Quality of Service (QoS) traffic management and various VPN protocols, covering Site-to-Site, OpenVPN, WireGuard, and L2TP for secure remote access.
