The Philips TAH8506WT/00 are over-ear wireless headphones designed for music, calls, and general media consumption. They are equipped with 40 mm dynamic drivers that cover a frequency range of 7 Hz to 40,000 Hz. The closed-back earcups provide passive noise isolation, which is enhanced by a hybrid active noise-cancelling system to reduce ambient sounds. For connectivity, the headphones utilize Bluetooth 5.0 with support for A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP profiles. A detachable 1.2 m audio cable is also included for a direct, wired connection to devices with a 3.5 mm jack.

The internal lithium polymer battery is rated for up to 60 hours of continuous audio playback on a single charge. A full recharge via the USB-C port takes approximately two hours, and a fast-charging feature is available. Integrated touch controls located on the earcups allow for management of volume, tracks, and calls. The headphones feature a foldable construction for compact storage and are supplied with a hard carrying case. Additional sound adjustments can be accessed through the Philips Headphones application, compatible with iOS and Android.
