The BLACK+DECKER 18V Cordless 2-Speed Hammer Drill Kit is a battery-powered drill for screwdriving, rotary drilling and hammer drilling. It is intended for common DIY, repair and home-maintenance tasks. The 18V supply provides cordless operation without reliance on a nearby socket. Maximum torque is rated at 45 N·m for drilling and driving fasteners. Maximum drilling diameters are 25 mm in wood, 10 mm in steel and 10 mm in concrete.

The pistol-grip drill has a soft-grip surface for more controlled handling during extended tasks. A built-in LED illuminates the immediate work area in dim conditions. Its keyless chuck accepts bits from 0.8 to 10 mm without requiring a chuck key. The two-speed gearbox provides separate ranges for controlled screwdriving and faster drilling. Supplied equipment includes two removable 1.5 Ah lithium-ion batteries, a charger and a carrying case.
