The Melitta Aqua 2.0 Deluxe is an electric kettle designed for precise water heating. It features three preset temperature settings—80°C for green tea, 95°C for brewed coffee, and 100°C for a full boil—selectable via button controls. A 2400-watt concealed heating element provides rapid heating for its 1.7-litre capacity. The main body is constructed from stainless steel, and a keep-warm function can maintain the selected temperature for up to 30 minutes after heating is complete.

Functionality is supported by several design elements. The kettle is cordless and sits on a 360° rotational base, accommodating both left- and right-handed users. A push-button mechanism allows for one-handed lid opening. For clear measurement, an illuminated water level window is readable from both sides. Safety is addressed with an automatic power-off feature, boil-dry protection, and overheat protection.
