The LaCie 2big Dock is a 32 TB external storage system designed for high-capacity data management in professional workflows. It contains two 3.5-inch, 7200 RPM hard drives which can be configured in RAID 0 for maximum performance, RAID 1 for data redundancy, or as two independent disks (JBOD). Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, enabling data transfer rates of up to 550 MB/s. This setup is engineered to accommodate the demands of managing and transferring large media files.

The device features an aluminium chassis and functions as a docking station to centralize peripheral connections. It integrates front-facing slots for SD, CFast 2.0, and CFexpress Type B memory cards, allowing for direct file transfers from cameras and other devices. The system supports plug-and-play operation and is compatible with computers running Windows 10 or newer and macOS 10.14 or later.
