The Makita UN460WDZ 12V CXT Cordless Telescopic Hedge Trimmer Body Only is designed for maintaining tall, wide and hard-to-reach hedges. Its 460 mm cutting length is paired with 18 mm tooth spacing. Maximum cutting thickness is 18 mm, defining the branch size it is rated to handle. The blade runs at 3,600 strokes per minute for routine shaping and hedge maintenance.

The articulated head adjusts through 135° to address hedge sides and tops from different angles. A telescopic shaft extends the tool to a maximum length of 2,500 mm. Working reach is approximately 3.5 m, depending on the operator’s height and position. At 3,000 g, the trimmer can be moved around gardens and landscaped areas without a trailing power cable.

Power comes from Makita’s 12V max CXT lithium-ion battery system. The battery is sold separately, so one is required before operation. A compatible charger is not included either.
